At least 41 people have been killed and 84 injured in simultaneous suicide attacks against a Shia cultural center and the neighbouring offices of the Afghan Voices agency in Kabul, Thursday. The footage shows damaged buildings, debris and glass scattered over the site. The first blast was followed by two further explosions and took place as students gathered in the cultural center to mark the... Еще 38-year anniversary of the Soviet invasion. The injured were brought to the Istiqlal hospital, some suffering from severe burns. Most of the dead and injured were students attending the conference. One of them, Mohammad Hasan, recalls what happened saying, that he heard a very loud sound of explosion while he was studying in the Tabian Social and Cultural Centre. “There was fire and smoke rising, I just saw many dead bodies and injured including women and children,” added Mohammad. The so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) took responsibility for the attack, media reports.
