Hundreds attended the funeral held in the Jawdara village in the area of Haska Mena in Nangarhar province on Saturday, for the victims of the mosque that was struck by a bombing the previous day.
Footage shows mourners, including relatives of the victims, digging graves and later praying, with some of them not being able to hold back their tears.

One of the mourners, Dunya Gul, said that among the victims «eight of them belong to my family, still, five victims are missing under the debris. I lost my sweet brother, he married last year, what will the government do with us?»
Banaras, who also lost relatives in the bombing, added «From every household at least two or three people were killed; even five-year-old children were killed. They had gone there to study the Quran.»
Omar Ghorzang, another relative, broke down in tears as he was mentioning the presence of kids among the human casualties.
According to reports, the bomb struck as worshippers gathered for Friday prayers. The force of the blast was so great that a section of the mosque's roof collapsed, killing 69 and injuring dozens. So far no group has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
