At least seven people were killed and 12 others wounded after gunmen stormed a mosque in Parwan Province on Tuesday, officials said.

«The gunmen arrived on two vehicles, they were in total 12 people who had heavy weapons too. Four gunmen open fire to kill the people,” told Ruptly a witness who was at the mosque.
The Afghan Interior Ministry blamed the attack on the Taliban, but the group denied responsibility.
The United Nations has warned of a “striking deterioration” of the violence in Afghanistan as, according to the UN, civilian casualties jumped to 380 in April.
