Afghanistan: Dozens of civilians killed and injured in roadside bombing

At least 34 people were killed and 17 injured after a roadside bomb hit a bus travelling between Herat and Kandahar in western Afghanistan on Wednesday. Footage shows survivors of the blast being taken to Herat provincial hospital. «We were on our way to Kabul from Herat province. Our vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb. As a result, a lot of my friends were killed and wounded too,» said Zamin... Еще Ahmadi, one of survivors. A local police spokesman said the bomb is likely to have been planted by the Taliban to target Afghan security forces. There has been a rise in numbers of such attacks in recent months. No-one has claimed responsibility for Wednesday's explosion so far.
