750 scarfs, 818 stadiums, 4,000 tickets: Groundhopper turns home into footy shrine

Marc Reinmann, a groundhopper and fan of Eintracht Frankfurt, has a unique collection in his house — he has transformed his attic into a shrine full of football souvenirs from around the world, as shown in footage filmed in Eschborn on Sunday. Reinmann's CV includes 3,471 games at 818 different stadiums. «I have about 700-750 scarfs, 100 stadium models, 80 trophies, 4,000 tickets and I think... Еще 30 or 40 T-shirts and many other things like Ice Hockey League's trophy which I could buy and other rare pieces,» he says. Now, Marc is preparing for his 'pilgrimage' to the World Cup in Russia. «We have five weeks to explore Moscow — Gorky park, all the sights. Then other host cities — Sochi, Kazan, and if I have some time left, I would visit Vladivostok, see Baikal, Ekaterinburg,» Marc said revealing his plans. Perhaps most surprisingly of all, there’s a Mrs. Reinmann! “My wife knew about my passion from the day one. We had to dismantle half of this collection in my old apartment and install it here, which took us four weeks of work. My children like it,” Marc said.
